Serving the Village of Owego, New York since 1853, the mission of the Owego Police Department has been to serve in partnership with the community to protect both life and property, by preventing crime and resolving problems, through enforcing the law and maintaining order for all people. Through these efforts we hope to have a positive impact on the quality of life for our citizens. The Owego Police Department is a fully accredited law enforcement agency, dedicated to community policing.
